One of the great things about Chiang Mai is the markets, and the biggest by far is the walking street market on Sunday night. It runs from 4 pm to midnight. It sells a huge range of goods, and also plenty of food stalls, the best of which are at Wat Sum Pow Temple. Here are a selection of the photos we took while we were there.
While there are lots of tourists at the Sunday night market, it’s also extremely popular with Thai people.
The market also spreads out into many temples around the center of the old city.
