This was the last hotel we stayed at in Bangkok before traveling to Surin by train for a week. I’ve walked passed this soi many times but never noticed this hotel tucked away at the end. And I was quite surprised at how good it was. It’s looks almost brand new and is a very modern style, with spacious rooms. Click here to book a room at Amber Boutique Hotel Silom via Agoda.
Our bed was large and comfortable, and the rest of the room was very well equipped. It had TV, fridge, safety deposit box, kettle, cups, free tea, coffee and water, hair dryer, laundry basket, etc.
The bathroom was also very modern and very clean. The shower area was larger than average, with the sink being just outside the bathroom door.
The aircon in our room worked very well, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night and had to leave very early the next morning so didn’t get a chance to have breakfast. But the breakfast area looked very nice. It was located on the ground floor of the hotel atrium, around which many of the rooms are located. It meant that the area was a quite a bright place.
The hotel is around 5-10 minutes’ walk to Chong Nonsi BTS station, and is near all the attractions of Silom, including restaurants, bars, cafes, nightlife, markets, malls and more.
I would be happy to stay at this hotel again.
