One of the most annoying aspects of traveling is the fact that every country you visit seems to have a different electrical system, which can make charging your electronics a very stressful experience. After a long flight with a flat cellphone battery, the last thing you need is to find out that you can’t re-charge it at your hotel. For our 5-month travels around Europe we wanted to make sure that using our laptops and charging our phones was a stress-free as possible, so we decided to find the ultimate adapter for our needs. After talking with other travelers and doing much internet research we opted for the SKROSS World Adapter Pro.
So far we’ve traveled to 12 countries in Europe and the adapter has worked in all of them. We’ve used it on trains in the UK, Czech Republic and Austria, and also in all the hotels and apartments we’ve stayed at for the last 3-4 months. In the past we had adapters that worked in some places but not others, but these one has worked in every single place that we’ve needed it.
The adapter works in over 150 countries around the world, so this is likely to be immensely useful as we continue our travels. Click here to see full specifications.
One thing to note is that this isn’t compatible with the electrical outlets in Japan.
We also chose to get a couple of extra SKROSS USB plugs, as these are really handy for charging our phones and Kindle very easily. The Europe version is especially useful for us at the moment, as it’s so easy to carry around and use in cafes when we’re out and about.
Where To Buy The SKROSS World Adapter
