For our few days in Ljubljana we opted to stay at Galeria Rooms, which was a super clean hotel a few minutes’ walk from the city center and around five minutes’ walk from the train station. Our room was super-clean, modern and a bit minimalist, so suited us perfectly. The bed was very big and very comfortable, although the pillows will a little soft. There was a large wardrobe, a desk and chair and a very large flat screen TV.
The room at a good size fridge, as well as kettle and cups. You could pick up free tea and coffee at the reception area. There wasn’t any breakfast, but there are plenty of good places to get breakfast nearby.
The bathroom was very modern and looked like it had been renovated very recently.
The shower in the bathroom was a decent size and worked very well.
Reception
The reception, which is on the first floor, closes in the evening after the last person has checked in, but there is a number you can call for any emergency. If you’re planning to arrive in the evening you should let the hotel know your arrival time.
Wifi
The wifi worked well the whole time we were here and the speeds were pretty good at around 9 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload.
Location
Around a 5-minute walk from the train station and very easy to find if you follow the instructions from the hotel. A few minutes’ walk from the city center as well, so easy to get around on foot.
We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again next time we visit Ljubljana.
