Many people that visit Split also want to spend a few days in Dubrovnik, or vice versa. So what options are available for traveling from Split to Dubrovnik? Here we take a look at traveling by ferry, bus and train, as these are the main methods of traveling between the cities that most people would expect to take.
Ferry
The ferry is a popular option for traveling from Split to Dubrovnik, but the bad news is that it doesn’t run all year, but only during the main tourist season. Jadrolinija used to sail this route but don’t have any ferries scheduled for 2015. The only operator that has sailings between Split and Dubrovnik this year, as far as I’m aware, is Krilo.
This sailing goes from Split to Milna (Brac) to Hvar to Korcula to Mljet to Dubrovnik. The days and times for 2015 are as follows:

Bus
There are a few companies that have buses running between Split and Dubrovnik every day, including Croatia Bus, which is who we traveled with when we made this journey in April. The bus a great option because you get beautiful scenery the whole way. Most of the journey is through the mountains, with the final part being along Croatia’s stunning coastline. We bought our tickets online from getbybus.com. You can make the purchase with your credit card and then just print off your tickets.
You can check up to date times and book tickets on the website, but here are the times that were available when we last checked in April. There may be extra buses in summer though.
