If you’re planning to stay in Split for a while and don’t have access to a washing machine, you’ll be glad to know that there a few launderettes within a few minutes’ walk of the city center. One of them also allows luggage storage, which is super-useful if you want to spend time in the city after checking out of your hotel.
Ulica Sperun Launderette & Luggage Storage
Our apartment in Split didn’t have a washing machine, so this is the launderette we used. A full service wash costs 75 kn ($11) and is usually ready in 2-3 hours. They also have a luggage storage facility and internet.
Ulica Sperun is the street right next to the Church of Saint Francis. The launderette is up that street on the left. You can see this church from the Riva, and this is also one of the ways to get to Marjan Hill.

Lushiya Launderette
This is a much smaller launderette that’s located among the small market stalls next to the green market. It’s self service with prices similar to the Ulica Sperun launderette. This might suit you if you’re staying nearby.

Plinarska Launderette
We haven’t used this launderette, but spotted it when we walked passed the other day. It’s near Split’s National Theater, so pretty close to the city center. Prices are similar to the other two launderettes mentioned above. The opening hours are limited though, and they’re closed on Sundays.
