This is just a short post about where we had veggie breakfast in Kings Cross this morning and a vegan Japanese restaurant we came across that we want to try at some point in the future. It was closed when we walked passed, otherwise we would have eaten there.
Big Chill House
Big Chill House is a large Victoria pub in the heart of Kings’s Cross. We happened to walk passed on our way to Kings Cross station and noticed that they had quite a few vegetarian dishes on the menu. So we stopped and had breakfast. The Veggie Fry above cost £8.
This place was fairly busy even a few minutes after opening. The service was good and the food arrived quickly after we ordered it. The pub was done out in an eclectic fashion and seems quite a popular place.
We ate our breakfast at the ground floor of the pub, but there’s also seating on the first floor and they also have a roof terrace.

Itadaki Zen
Unfortunately this was closed when we saw it, but I’ve added it here as a reminder to myself and for others who may be heading to the King’s Cross area.
The sign in the window claims it’s Europe’s first vegan Japanese restaurant.
