We found four vegetarian restaurants in Hua Hin, but there were many other restaurants in the city that had a few vegetarian options on the menu. These are the four that we found, all within a few minutes walk of each other. Check out Hua Hin Insider Travel Guide for more information on your visit.
Night Market Vegetarian
This shop doesn’t actually have a name, but is at the junction of Prapokkloa Road and Dechanuchit Road (Hua Hin Soi 72), which is at the top of the night market. This was one of our two favorite vegetarian restaurants. It had a good selection of food available for most of the day, although there was less available nearer closing time.
We ate here most days. The two lunch dishes above cost around 60 baht ($2) each.
It’s very easy to find, as you just need to walk to the top of the road that the night market’s on – Dechanuchit Road (Soi 72). This restaurant is open from 06:30 until 19:00.
The inside of the shop is fairly spacious and clean, with free ice and water available towards the back.
You have a choice of white or brown rice, and then just choose which dishes you want with it. There is usually a selection of 8-10 hot dishes, with a few fake meat options as well.
They sometimes have some fruit for sale, as well as a few other items.

Muay And Joom Vegetarian
We loved the food at Muay & Joom, and ate there often. But you have to get here early for the best choice of food. After lunchtime the choice was usually much less. Luckily, it was the nearest vegetarian to the condo we stayed at – Tira Tiraa. They have a selection of around 5-8 hot dishes that are served with rice, and also a few fake meat dishes.
For the best selection, go early in the day. Towards closing time there may only be noodle dishes available.
This place can be a little hard to find first time, but its well worth the effort. From Phetkasem Road turn into Soi 70 and start walking. You’ll see the road to the market area on your left, and then a 7 Eleven store a little further on. After you pass the 7 Eleven, take the next right down a small lane and you’ll see a small road running parallel to Soi 70. Turn left into it and you’ll see Muay & Joom about 10 shops up on the left. Look for the bright yellow signs. If you turn right instead of left you’ll see the other vegetarian shop mentioned below.
As you can see from the image above, the yellow signs make the shop stand out.
The shop sign is in Thai, so you won’t see it say Muay & Joom unless you can read Thai.

Reun Thong Vegetarian
Reun Thong is just down the road from the Night Market Vegetarian, and also quite easy to find. It’s at the junction of Dechanuchit Road and Sa Song Road. It’s a small shop, so look for the vegetarian signs, as shown above.
You’ll have to get here early if you want one of the main dishes, as they are mostly sold out by 10 or 11 am. After that they just have a few noodle dishes that they cook to order.

Soi 70 Vegetarian
This might be a little difficult to find first time, so just follow these instructions and you should find it easily enough. Turn into Soi 70 from Phetkasem Road, and after around 50 meters you’ll see a small lane to your right that leads to a Chinese building. Walk down this lane (Sa Song Road) and then take the first left. The restaurant is on the left hand side one shop from the end of the first row of shops. Just look for the yellow sign. Walk further ahead to the top of the street and you’ll come to Muay & Joom.

Hotels In Hua Hin
For our first few nights in Hua Hin, we stayed at Thor HuaHin57 Hotel. The location is very central, with the night market being about 2 minutes’ walk away. To book this or any other hotel in Hua Hin, check out Agoda Hua Hin.
